On console, a mouse and keyboard make fast inventory management much easier β and a keyboard lets you relay info silently without giving anything away to the enemy. A great way to beat radio chatter.
On calculators: nothing wrong with using one, but know the fundamentals and practice in Master Mode first. Calculators can be off by up to ~1.5 seconds on time-of-flight, especially in sweet-spot zones, switching rings, or firing up/downhill.
Illumination rounds are advanced β about 93% of the time the automatic fuse won't work unless source-to-target elevation matches. For effective flares the shell needs to detonate ~0.5s before ground impact. Cross-reference with the Mortar Master 4000 app for accurate time-of-flight.
